Uncommontary is a conversational interview podcast featuring guests from a broad array of disciplines. I plan four 10-episode seasons a year, each episode being 30-40 minutes long. Among my guests on Season 1 are Twitter’s Historian-in-Residence; a Muslim attorney talking about Sharia Law and extremism; an English prof and the importance of reading good books; a public theologian discusses American voters; a Native American poet addresses colonization vs missions; a public defender, and more.

Uncommontary is for thoughtful listeners who want to hear a point of view and have the chance to think about it. People who want to see other people throwing chairs always have Jerry Springer.

This is the podcast you’ve wanted even if you didn’t know it.

The projected launch date is January 15, when you’ll be able to subscribe in iTunes, Overcast, Stitcher, GooglePlay, or your favorite podcatcher. Please subscribe, listen, and recommend.
