Dana Hall McCain is a lifelong Alabamian, a graduate of Auburn University, and writes a weekly column about faith, politics and culture for Alabama Media Group. She was born and raised as a Southern Baptist, and has served as a Women’s Ministry Leader and as teacher in her local community Bible study class. Dana is a member of the 2019 Leadership Council for the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC, and volunteers each week at her local faith-based pregnancy resource center as a mentor.
