Beth Shelburne is a journalist with over 20 years experience in investigative and long-form reporting. Her career has included positions at New England Cable News (NECN) in Boston, MA and KFMB in San Diego, California. She earned an M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama, and a B.A. in Mass Communications from Auburn University. Shelburne’s specific interests include issue-based reporting and writing about criminal and social justice, mass incarceration, mental illness, and addiction. Beth and her husband have one child.
